Deferred Sales Charge

A deferred sales charge is s form of sales fee that some mutual funds charge (this fee structure often exists in B and C class shares of mutual funds). The deferred sales charge is incurred when an investor exist their investment (but may reduce over time). This type of fee is also referred to as a back-end load, exit fee, early withdrawal fee or contingent deferred sales charge.
