Ex Dividend Date

The term Ex Dividend Date refers to the date between a fund's accounting date and when it pays out its distributions; if an investor owns units in the fund during this period they will be eligible for the distributions. In the documents that you receive from your fund manager there will likely be information about distribution dates and it will likely refer to what day the ex dividend date is.
