Mid-cap Stocks

Mid-cap Stocks are medium size companies that fit between the 'Small-cap' and 'Large-cap' categories. Cap refers to market capitalization which is calculated as the number of shares outstanding multiplied by the market price. Mid-cap companies are generally thought of as those with market capitalisations of around $1 billion to $5 billion.
