Simplified Prospectus

The Simplified Prospectus is a regulatory requirement of fund managers in the UK; it requires them to produce additional information than the Key Features Document in order to become compliant with EU standards on disclosure and information provision to investors. When investing it is important to compile as many information sources as possible to support decision making, thus regulatory documents such as the Simplified Prospectus can be a useful source of information for the due dilligence and research process.

Synonyms: Prospectus, Investment statement, Disclosure document
