Accumulative return

A fund's accumulative returns is a return that covers results from a rolling period e.g. annual, monthly, weekly etc. In other words, an accumulative return on a rolling 1-year basis would take into account the entire 1-year period up to the specified date e.g. a 1-year trailing return as at 20 August 2010 would cover the period from 20 August 2009 through to 20 August 2010.

Synonyms: Rolling return, Trailing return
